You, my spark
Keeping my eyes open
For views and for tears
Trickle, splash
They collect for you
Drip, seep
My life flows outward
Pull the chord
Vroom, vroom
Severing my limbs
And brake-ing my heart
The boy in the mask
Isn't the man of shine I knew
Dead
Gone to me
But I long for your re-turn
And I'll stay here waiting for
You, my constant suicide
You, my spark

This is an attempt at a Meinke poem for Creative Writing. The title is somewhat inspired by The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
